How to do it

Step by step

  1. Find the main water valve, gas meter valve and main breaker.
  2. Turn each fixture valve off and on.
  3. Tag every valve and hang the gas wrench at the meter.
When to call a pro: Only shut off gas if you smell it. SDG&E must turn it back on.
