How to do it

Step by step

  1. Clean cracks with a wire brush and vacuum.
  2. Push backer rod into wide cracks.
  3. Fill with sealant and let it level.
When to call a pro: Cracks wider than 1/2 in, or one side higher than the other: possible settlement. Have it looked at by an engineer.
